Module 1

The Current Treatment Landscape

The goal of this module is to review the limitations of currently available treatments for bipolar I disorder, understand when LAIs should be considered, and review barriers to LAI adoption and how clinicians can overcome these barriers with their patients.

Module 2

Motivational Interviewing and the GAIN Approach

The goal of this module is to discuss strategies for implementing motivational interviewing when discussing the use of LAIs in patients with bipolar I disorder.

Module 3

Comparison of Available LAIs for Bipolar I Disorder

The final module in this series will take a closer look at the 4 available LAIs for Bipolar I Disorder, comparing and contrasting these agents, with a particular focus on differences in administration.
